Integration of services in buildings based on case study of Parliament Library
Present day building requires a large number of services out of which Lighting is one of the important services. Lighting design requires consideration for the different activities in a particular space. In some spaces there may be need for even upto four different combinations of lighting for efficient performance. Energy conservation requires provision of more lights or different sets of lights for different activities. Energy conservation does not require any sacrifice on the lighting quality or the quantity, but requires appropriate provision for different uses and appropriate controls. -
